Honestly trublu are you hearing yourself ?

For Gods sake man we are talking about 2 OAP's who work for our club

We're also tallking about our club which is at death's door and the fans are trying to save it - by any means they see fit.

Why these two 'employees' deemded it necessary to get involded with this on Friday and try and protect the wigs interests is beyond me. Why did the woman in particular insist on throwing herslef forward to get to the fans and also hurl abuse at them ? Why ??

Has it ever crossed your mind that possibly they were there in the course of their employment to prevent unauthorised entry ?

Or do you seriously think the board are employing OAP'S as personal bodyguards ?

They should have stood back, waited on the police, who were there almost immmediately by the look of it, and allowed them to deal with anything. The woman was hurling obsenities at bears who were not there to be violent or hurt anyone. They were simply makeing a point and wanted to get their protest banner unfurled within that area. There was no need for her to get herself involved.

So we have an organised protest which is well attended with exemplerary behaviour - where the point is clearly made as well as given plenty of air time etc by MSM.

Then we have a few individuals taking it upon themselves to hold an unofficial protest in an area they are not entitled to be, and as a consequence 2 elderly employees of the club sustain injuries.

Sorry Moody but quite simply it really is a no brainer.

In desparate times - as these are - sometimes a harder stance has to be taken. Fans' patience has run dry and the frustration is boiling over. Tensions are high, the stakes are high, anger is high - the whole future of the club we love is hanging by a thread. A few lads going into an area within the stadium which they technically shouldn't, is hardly crime of the century.

I'm sorry, but unless we take more direct action and literally drive these scumbags out of our club, we may not have a club.

If you look on some other football forums of English clubs for example, they are mainly full of praise for the protests before the game and also the lads who went onto the reception area to protest. They recognise that the Rangers support has suffered so much at the hands of a number of scumbags who have ripped our club to pieces. Protests and direct action like this should have happened a long time ago.

of course it has crossed my mind are you having a laugh? Have you actually watched the videos? if you have you would know what I and others are talking about. Staff going out of there job responsibility to stop action against the board.

Lets make this very simple.

the line in the sand is clear you either are on the side that will do whatever it takes to safe guard the club or you are on the other side where other priorites take precendent.

are you ever going to answer a question or just keep asking others for their reasoning/opinion? how are we going to see the club into safe hands through polite hands off protest and shareholder moves? How do you see mike ashley being out smarted and removed from move and counter move?

If a group of fans want to take their own actions and matters into their own hands outwith a main protest like what happened on Friday, then they should have the courage to take responsibility for their actions by putting their names or at least the name of their group to the actions.

Actually the questions were directed at MB - not you - who was obliging enough to provide an answer, albeit we dont see eye to eye.

Its alarming that you appear to be apportioning the blame on 2 employees rather than upon those who went beyond the remit and location of a peaceful protest. Its even more alarming that you cannot see the damage it is doing to those of us who are intent of holding peaceful protests.

You mentioned public opinion in a previous post - what do you think is more likely to garner favour or sympathy & effect change - thousands upon thousands of Rangers supporters protesting peacefully and highlighting the avarice of Ashley and the sell out by our board or a handful of highly charged indivduals running around like an angry mob and engaging in conduct which leaves people injured ?

My concern with upping the ante is where do you actually draw the line - in fact is there a line ? What happens if the next incident results in assaults or deliberate violence on others - is that acceptable ?

My hope, is that a series of continuous protests, undertaken in a peaceful and responsible manner, and attended by thousands upon thousands of bears, highlighted positively via MSM, and the negative publicity it has for those concerned, will apply pressure on both Ashley and the board to reconsider their proposal.
