BBC Scotland have outright said we're a new club, then been called to task on it. What they think is also irrelevant. All that matters is what the governing bodies and the court of law said.

As long as they get this sort of ridiculous reaction it will continue. This topic has had over 1200 views and has been the most active topic of the day. Not only are you giving them the attention they crave, but slightly worryingly we seem more concerned with an advert than the potential takeover of our club.

It's true that we are not a new club but when thousands of people are saying that we are, often aided by broadcasters with their own sinister agendas, it is damaging and hard to ignore.

This 'advert' says more about them than us, but we should not kid ourselves - the 'new club' smell is going to stick to us for many years to come, even though it's not true.

The SFA's compliance officer should be chasing those clubs whose official publications contain misinformation on this subject - and Rangers should be reminding them to do so.

Doesn't always need to take a long time to come in, turn a club around and win the Scottish title - just ask Jock Stein, Jock Wallace, Alex Ferguson, Graeme Souness, Wim Jansen, Martin O'Neil and Walter Smith. You can maybe count Eck too.

This.

Derek McInnes might just end up on that list very soon.

You have followed this stance time and again. Scrote was telling lies about our "new" club within hours of the BBC Trust having a go at them because of that very reason. The BBC in general is viewed as a source of impartial and high standard journalism. Scrote knows that. What he writes is more often than not taken straight to the BBC News Services beyond Scotland and from there to the world. German (and many other) news stations and papers carried his lies and misinformation for months, if not years. His insidiuous questioning of the SFA ruling on our club of late shows him up for what he is. He and his actively besmirch the name of our club world-wide and this needs to be made public and adressed. We've done that over here in Germany and they usually follow the more impartial route over here these days.

As for the second part, we all read on what goes on with the board, the 3Bs, King and Co.. We do not need a reminder for that. We know about our problems, but most of us do not live in a "Rangers only universe". Never have and never will. We leave that "one club only" universe to that other club beyond the Clyde. Thus, there is no need to drum that self-castigating gospel up time and again.

If the board do their job properly then they should advise the Herald(or whoever) that if any article is published which insinuates Rangers are a new club then legal action will follow

good lord we have to be careful here. some of these reactions are just what they want . Personally they are just a bunch of absolute roasters and I don't give a flying f*** what they think. if it's eating their souls then good I hope it destroys their pathetic little lives..

The only caveat is that I hope that the club have everything re titles protected, our status as the same club etc all documented with the relevant authorities and not reliant on the "opinion" of someone like Doncaster who could be railroaded by the "Dark Lawrd" himself if they ever decided to change the agenda..
