craig 5,199
Our first team squad is nowhere near good enough to win the Premiership. It will require quite significant investment to do that. And not one of us believes otherwise.
calscot 0
We're a long, long way from that day just now believe me....... Doesn't always need to take a long time to come in, turn a club around and win the Scottish title - just ask Jock Stein, Jock Wallace, Alex Ferguson, Graeme Souness, Wim Jansen, Martin O'Neil and Walter Smith. You can maybe count Eck too.
Crimson Dynamo 128
Our squad is good enough to compete at the top end of the SPFL they just need a proper motivator in charge of them, I don't believe Celtic & Aberdeen are that far in front of us in terms of playing personnel, most definitely in terms of infrastructure they are but not players
Oleg_Mcnoleg 50
And just when you think things can't get any more mental, somebody goes and does something like this. Completely hatstand. Surely there must be Celtic fans cringing with embarrassment or pudding themselves laughing at this drivel?

I've yet to meet one who thinks we're the same club no matter how many times they get proved otherwise.
Hildy 0
Don't think so. I've yet to meet one who thinks we're the same club no matter how many times they get proved otherwise. It's true. Fans of clubs other than Celtic have convinced themselves that Rangers is a new club. They are completely wrong of course but facts are of no interest to them unless they are consistent with their muddled thinking.

Hildy 0
What they think is irrelevant. If only. When these fans are in positions of influence, they can damage the club. Look at the Livingston programme debacle. Rangers are supposed to be pursuing this but if the whole thing just fizzles out, it won't be a surprise. Look at BBC Scotland - would you say that they have implied that we are a new club?

The opinions of the football authorities and Rangers' own fans are the only ones I care about. The rest can howl at the moon for as long as they like and it will make not one jot of difference.

Look at BBC Scotland - would you say that they have implied that we are a new club? BBC Scotland have outright said we're a new club, then been called to task on it. What they think is also irrelevant. All that matters is what the governing bodies and the court of law said. As long as they get this sort of ridiculous reaction it will continue. This topic has had over 1200 views and has been the most active topic of the day. Not only are you giving them the attention they crave, but slightly worryingly we seem more concerned with an advert than the potential takeover of our club.
