Zappa 0
Thanks Zappa - was getting confused by some of the various lists of % holdings that are flying about and some are suggesting Artemis still holding around 4% - but this appears to clarify it. Aye, it does clarify it mate. 11,869,505 is the total number of shares purchased on 02 Jan by the King family trust's 'New Oasis Investments Limited' company. 8,109,223 of that was the full Artemis shareholding. The remaining figures of 3,260,282 & 500,000 are probably his purchases from Miton & R&M. 8,109,223 + 3,260,282 + 500,000 = 11,869,505

Zappa 0
that assumes that artemis only had their original shares? That's what's listed on the company Investor relations website which was last updated on 31 October. http://www.rangersinternationalfootballclub.com/share-information
Rangersitis 0
that assumes that artemis only had their original shares? Other than what has been announced through the LSE notices, everything is largely based on assumptions. There is plenty of focus on this mythical fifty percent plus one share and precious little on the boardroom power which amounts to zero. Nothing will happen until the latter changes.

That's exactly what I eluded to earlier - The Easdales currently control 26% of the voting rights. If they don't like something, they have the power to block it - most major decisions eg new share issue, requires 75% of the votes.

If they want to maintain that bloc they'll have to pay for the privilege. There are ways to circumvent them.
