BEARGER 1,830
[i Club Statement WRITTEN BY RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB RANGERS would like to announce that Ally McCoist is relinquishing his duties as manager and will serve out the remainder of his 12 month notice period on gardening leave. We would like to thank Ally for all his hard work and dedication over the last few years, but we feel it is now in the best interests of all parties to move on. Assistant Manager Kenny McDowall will take over his duties until the end of the season.
Zappa 0
Only we (Rangers) can make a manager resigning into such a f*&king Pantomime .... In fairness, it is Panto season! And also in fairness, the fans have been screaming out for entertainment! Maybe the placemen on the board we're told are running the Club just misunderstood what type of entertainment Gers fans are after....
Rangersitis 0
Surprised he has not left. As he was prepared to take Celtic's shilling, he quite obviously doesn't have a sense of loyalty to anything or anyone.
Rangersitis 0
McDowall getting the gig brings to mind the phrase, be careful what you wish for. How are all those who have been critical of the coaching under McCoist going to square this one? RANGERRAB 3,850
Not sorry to see McCoist go but replacing him with MacDowall until the end of the season is not the answer. A new manager needs brought in now to prepare for next season whatever division we may be in
chilledbear 16
The backroom staff should walk.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
I would rather a player took charge because at least there might be a remote chance of them having some managerial talent.
Zappa 0
Ally's assistant taking over until the end of the season shows how low we've come and how little those running the show care. Not even able to replace the manager in a suitable time frame? Embarrassing.
