Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Bloody hell SBS, is your new avatar "the chosen one" a couple of months after being appointed Rangers new manager? Haha The Wealdstone Raider reminds me there is some fun to be had in football... The only fun I get from football now is watching my other team.

Rangersitis 0
I wholeheartedly agree with his thoughts, and that view is hardened with each passing day and it's inevitable embarrassing story.
der Berliner 4,018
Does anyone still care to disagree with Donald Findlay? Suum cuique, but I for one think that this is playing nicely into the hands of the Hooped Horrors and their fellowship. But once people start repeating this rubbish often enough, it may get a certain momentum. Not surprised by who whipped up this topic again, though. Two-and-a-half months after Findlay's musings. Rangers FC is more than Whyte and what followed ever after up till now. Rangers is not solely made up of the squad that manages to dishonour Ibrox' turf these days. No-one can say what Rangers will look like in 4 or 10 years time. They will not look like the Rangers of the 90s, nor like the Rangers of the 80s, or the 60s. We've seen good times and bad times and hardly ever had events at boardroom level and ownership dictated what sort of "entity" the club was, or what history was created. Dictated the way people think about the club, that is. The way they "feel" for Rangers FC. You can clearly see why people would bring this up these days though.

Why do your thoughts invariably revolve around Celtic and their support, with the views of Rangers fans relegated to the runner-up position?
buster. 5,439
Why do your thoughts invariably revolve around Celtic and their support, with the views of Rangers fans relegated to the runner-up position? Many are the same, it's the 'Cabal Blame Game', where they have to find someone other than the executive board to blame for the state of the club. It's the SFA, SPFL, the meeja, Fullerton, LBG, HMRC, Desmond, King, UoF, SoS.................etc, etc. You'll note that the other side of this game for the serial players is to back every money grabbing sp.iv that passes through Ibox. It can be down to 'mind-control' (within groupthink), downright stupidity, something darker or a combination. There is culpability elsewhere, but it is extremely limited, and anyone focusing on it, or repeatedly attempting to get others to do likewise, needs a watching.
