Ex-Rangers star Jamie Ness opens up on being Ibrox 'rebel'...

It is/was the same Rangers before green and it is the same rangers after ,never has it been a negative to pull on that strip. One man does not define the club or justify turning your back to line your own pocket through nothing more than dislike for a character.

As has been said Ad nauseam no excuse for not signing over then asking for a transfer. If Green had said no which there is no basis to believe then boo hoo you would have been left playing for Rangers poor baby.

No, it really isn't. It is a tawdry imitation of what it once was.

As has been said ad nauseum, if they had all transferred across, how would Green have covered the wage bill?

A transfer? How much would we have got for Ness? A quid?

"It all happened so quickly" = no it did not.

Plus the article and Ness deliberately mis-read the Whittaker and Naismith situation. It's a dreadful attempt at rewriting history all based on the bizarre premise of his dad having cancer so he thinks the way to help is to to move far away from home as quickly as he can.

in the end it did actually. green never spoke to the players until the very last minute to offer them the transfer over.

If the main breadwinner in your family (I imagine his Dad) is diagnosed with a potentially terminal illness, then yes, moving anywhere for what was presumably a lot of money to assure your family's security would be the best thing to do.

We're straying into complete fantasy here, with people calling Ness out for doing what they would have done as well. Tbh I had forgotten all about him so he can rest easy about any phobias about abuse, from me anyway.

He could have borrowed to pay the salaries til the end of august and would have sold the players during august. Quite simple really but he never got the chance as greed and self interest won the day
