the gunslinger 3,366
You didn't finish the sentence GS. So was it.......(1) as far away from the application list as possible? (2) to bite his tongue for a wee while (please don't come out in Mondays papers in support in full support of your pal)? (3) to persuade his mate Ally to get this agony over, and walk now!? think he would really shake things up.
the gunslinger 3,366
Billy Davies is the archetypal 'nearly man' figure which Scots embrace so readily. His one success saw him take Derby up to the EPL, only to put out one of the worst teams ever to appear in a major league. Derby were always likely to struggle, but they were appallingly bad. Then there are his mental problems..... The clamour to replace McCoist with anyone is reminiscent of the Murray to Whyte to Green to Ashley scenarios. Will lessons ever be learned by the Rangers support? this, so much this.
SteveC 150
Billy Davies, the man who signed Bob Malcolm for Derby. That, and that alone, should permanently exclude him from being considered as Rangers manager. Almost as bad as this: http://www.charltonlife.com/discussion/38536/the-further-adventures-of-billy-davies

Not many people are clean these days. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-75839/McCoists-mistress.html Hey SC, there's not being clean, as you put it, and getting into the same bed with a naked Tommy Sheridan. That's a different category all together in the altogether stakes.
Little General 80
be careful what you wish for. don't be surprised if Dennis WIse and Joe Kinnear get the gig. Both pals of Ashley.
RANGERRAB 3,771
I said he shouldn't be scoffed at, not that he must be the new manager. Is there anyone you would like to see? We need someone who has some sort of record as a manager. Something McCoist never had. Billy Davies ticks more boxes than most for me but whoever gets the job( please no more Ally after Wednesday) they have to do something with this car crash of a team McCoist will have left behind.
