Super Cooper 0
Do you honestly think if we get a decent manager in with a good team everything is ok for the future? Not everything no but we could still win the league and there will be a far better atmosphere about the place and more money coming into the club with far bigger crowds. Listen Ian, the board is a problem, of course it is, they have failed us by not removing Ally sooner but we are where we are. Right now, the manager is doing more harm than anyone and needs removed as a matter of urgency. He is risking our very future even more so than the board by gambling with out promotion chances. This 2nd division should never have been in doubt, to be 12 points behind Hearts before Xmas is simply unacceptable on every level.
the gunslinger 3,366
the board are the ones not paying off ally. the board are the ones who have squandered the cash needed to get rid of him. the board are the ones who will not accept cash to take us forward. the board are the real issue. sacking ally while a must will not change anything other than the odd result. the board are trying to shift the focus off themselves through their stooges. both need to go. the priority though remains with the board. especially while they continue to back ally.
ian1964 10,720
Yes things will improve once we're back in the top division and hopefully competing in Europe again. Won't happen while McCoist is still there though look!, I agree McCoist is not a good manager, and I'm not trying to defend him,my concerns are off the park more than on it. I'm not going to keep debating this as I see it different from you,and a few others!,so I'm out.
MikeN63 0
we need to open both eyes, as fans we're being poked with two large sticks repeatedly; the board are driving the Club into the ground and on the pitch McCoist and his arse licking, incompetent side kicks, couldn't create tactics or a footballing philosophy to challenge an English Championship academy team and that is a complete embarrassment on both fronts to us all. the crowds aren't just down because of the board it is because the football is shit and people don't want to watch that. someone suggested, similar to the Eck years earlier, think that is completely unreasonable, it is much, much worse than that and unfair on Eck. Super Cooper 0
I know that is aimed at me, but all you are concerned about is the manager and team, for me there is a lot more to worry about, which I've told you before. Not specifically at you Ian no it wasn't but people like yourself who would rather moan and worry about the men in suits in the directors box than the people who actually provide your entertainment/lack of. We are football fans.

Sacking Ally will greatly improve things. A better manager could easily get more from this squad. Too many players have regressed since joining. That is McCoist's fault and the so-called coaches he's got with him
