BEARGER 1,830
Just to offer some background, Les (and his wife) sold their shares in his wife's fathers company ShawCor for £300m last year. Here we go again another Billionaire, right enough it is the Sun.
Frankie 8,651
Here we go again another Billionaire, right enough it is the Sun. There's no doubt about Les' background. The following article gives a good, in-depth picture of it: http://www.bqlive.co.uk/2014/10/03/forging-a-better-business-future-for-scotland/

Super Cooper 0
Not that I'm aware of. However, I do know people involved with King were informed of Les' availability so to speak. Not sure if they followed it up. I believe this Motherwell stuff is due to his daughter who is a 'Well fan. I will never understand any parent who allows any of their kids to support "another" team.
pete 2,499
I will never understand any parent who allows any of their kids to support "another" team. My son supports Feynoord. But I suppose that is different as I live abroad.

RANGERRAB 3,731
I've just realised that I know Les, I worked beside him at LDA. And is/was he a Rangers supporter?
plgsarmy 111
I don't remember him being all that interested.
Frankie 8,651
I don't remember him being all that interested. I'd imagine he's perhaps a more nominal bear than most of us but a bear he is and he was present at last years AGM. I'm told he wanted to invest in us but has been put off for now for a number of reasons and, given the state of the club, who can blame him. I notice Richard Wilson also said on Sportsound last night Hutchison was a Rangers fan. Edited December 9, 2014 by Frankie
