Gribz 966
http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30114815 Was one of my favourite players while at Ibrox and scored some big goals in big games.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Was largely wasted wide left though did have some success there v the tims when they played 3 at the back. There were so many games where he would spend all day on the touchline, barely touch the ball, get subbed on the 65th minute only for the same to happen the week after. Was excellent in his last season when played through the middle, which was his correct position.
Scott7 6,260
"Lovenkrands - wins it for Rangers" Rob McLean's grief-stricken shriek in commentary on the great cup-final winner.

I well remember R de Boer telegraphing a pass to PL down the left touchline and looking up only to find Peter rooted to the original spot. He reminded me a lot of Willie Johnston, only turned it on when he felt like it; but when he did he could be devastating. That said he did indeed show himself to be a first class striker in his last season and his goals home and away v Villarreal almost put us into the quarter finals of the CL. Considering that he looked transformed as a striker it was inexplicable how McLeish didn't realise that that was his true position or if he did didn't play him there. Of course, he had a history of playing strikers on the wing e.g. Arveladze and Novo.

Of course, he had a history of playing strikers on the wing e.g. Arveladze and Novo. Arveladze spent much of his time wide left, never scoring prolifically, then went to AZ and hit 48 goals in 2 seasons. He was a real top quality player who we wasted. The guy scored > 300 goals in his career and should have been breaking records with us. Similarly, Novo scored 50 goals in 2 seasons (his last season at Dundee and first with us), then became a mediocre sub that often played wide right. Frustrating isn't the word.
