the gunslinger 3,366
It's all very well King calling for this, that and the other but in real terms such boycotts cause the club harm and results in the loss of jobs like we've heard about overnight. Despite the valid concerns King has, for many fans it will be too difficult to do. With that in mind, I'd like to see a more positive strategy from him but given we've not seen this previously, I won't be holding my breath now. you mean like offering 16 million in investment. or 50 million.....
Frankie 8,674
you mean like offering 16 million in investment. or 50 million..... All well and good but without a clear plan and ways of getting more fans onside, it's easily dismissed by the people he has to pressurise.

With no clear plan, no proof of funds, not naming investors etc DK played right into the hands of the board. He gave them perfect reason to reject his proposals whatever they were. If he'd been up front things would have been different.

I'm not saying it has to be pretty but, as it stands, it's not working.
quattro 0
Did anyone ever find out what purpose McColl served, he made it clear he wouldn't invest and was also a Thistle fan, wouldn't it have been better if he and King had joined forces at least in a business sense.
