Blue Moon 1,289
This isn't within the Police statement but STV have used this wording. "It is alleged that two 50-year-olds and two men aged 53 and 49 were involved in a fraudulent scheme to acquire the club." Would seem to darken the clouds above Clark and Whitehouse, if accurate and proven. I believe fraud is the primary charge and the others are additional charges.

colinstein 294
It is alleged that David Whitehouse, Paul Clark and David Grier, who all work for former Rangers administrators Duff and Phelps and lawyer Gary Withey, who was Rangers' company secretary after the takeover, were involved in a fraudulent scheme to acquire the club. One of the men is also accused of breaching the Companies Act, while three allegedly attempted to pervert the course of justice.
