PRW 0
iIf the administrators have been arrested does this suggest that Greens' purchase is fraudulent? Hard to say that when competing bidding parties were tabling such God awful rivaling bids, TBK and Kennedy's last ditch offer was excruciatingly bad. The night Kennedy spoke of "blood on their hands" with regards to Clark and Whitehouse I was still shell shocked at how poor the terms of their bid were to figure out what he meant.

Basing a bid partly on getting to the later stages of the CL was rather comical.
Jim1955 12
Did HMRC approve the choice of administrators? I can't remember.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Did HMRC approve the choice of administrators? I can't remember. Whyte got his own choice.
PRW 0
Did HMRC approve the choice of administrators? I can't remember. No, they wanted BDO. Whyte's lawyers fought tooth and nail to have D&P appointed, sadly they got their way and we are where we are now. Clark & Whitehouse being detained opens up a whole can of worms though.
Anchorman 0
Whyte got his own choice. After a crazy mad dash along the M8 to Edinburgh to get them there in time, as he was terrified that they wouldn't be appointed and that HMRC would get theirs.

der Berliner 3,743
Did HMRC approve the choice of administrators? I can't remember. Word was at the time that HMRC was doing their utmost to get their own people in, one more trick Whyte played on them. Any news how Ticketus try to enforce the 18m bill on him, or why he's still not behind bars because of that?
Hildy 0
I don't think we can rule anything out at this stage. SDM will be watching with interest. It's a complicated situation, but if oldco was taken out of liquidation and an illegal takeover confirmed, if somehow the club fell under the governance of oldco again, the HMRC ongoing appeal, if won, could have greater consequences than has been generally anticipated. I'm not stating facts here - just speculating on the various possibilities that could come into play.
colinstein 294
could the sale by the administrators to Green be under investigation ? It always struck me that Sevco 5088 got first choice which excluded subsequent bids. but of course we were sold to Sevco Scotland, a different company
