ian1964 10,721
Manchester City are in advanced talks with Swansea City over signing Wilfried Bony, BBC Wales Sport has learned. It is thought that it would take more than £30m to prise the Ivory Coast striker, 26, from the Liberty Stadium.

Steve1872 4
heard that on the wireless this morningwhat do we know about him ? His career has been propelling upward at an invigorating pace. It was only six years ago that he began his coaching career as the head of Dundee United’s youth academy. He is largely credited with the development of Ryan Gauld & was tabbed by Nuno to be his protege. Since 2012, Cathro has been the Portuguese manager’s right hand man, first with Rio Ave & now with Valencia. http://therangersreport.com/2015/01/07/report-rangers-eyeing-a-shock-move-for-ian-cathro/?
JohnMc 2,750
heard that on the wireless this morningwhat do we know about him ? There have been a couple of profiles about him in the press in the last couple of years, this from the BBC is as good as any http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29463560 He's really young and has never played professional football, he's basically been a football coach all of his adult life. He's been heavily involved with a number of SFA initiatives with youth coaching. The question remains, is he the next Jose Mourinho or the next Andy Roxburgh? Time will tell.
elfideldo 411
He divides opinion, some see him as a breath of fresh air others as a bit of a crackpot. He must be doing something right to be where he is. I believe he started coaching at 16 and Craig Levein took him on at Dundee Utd after his team outplayed and showed better technique than the United kids they played against. Levein then took him on at the SFA when he was Scotland manager. I have only seen his United team twice and although they always tried to play a passing game and completely refused to kick the ball up the park despite losing both games by a few goals. At one of the games his behaviour on the touchline was a touch bizarre. Below is a link to his coaching programme he sells to boys clubs. http://www.boxsoccertraining.co.uk/ Edited January 7, 2015 by elfideldo
