Super Cooper 0
But who will take that decision? Will greedy Ally demand his full compensation?[/quote Why wouldn't he want every penny that's due to him under his contract? - almost everybody would. PLG didn't. Strachan didn't at Boro either.
Thinker 887
Everyone else seems to waltzing off into then sunset with a wheelbarrow of the club's cash. I'd begrudge him doing it a lot less than Stockbridge or Green. I'd feel worse about Ally taking a pay-off if I thought it would otherwise be spent on something worthwhile. If McCoist doesn't take it, the money will probably just get wasted on some other ****trocious outrage. der Berliner 3,744
Well it is certainly not for me to deny that in general, just that this is not an example of particular proof (unless expecting it to be decoded is the claim and that would be rather harsh.) Perhaps you could find other proof for your "away with the fairies" theory in utterances re a succession of asset stripping, money grabbing RFC destroying barstewards? As ol' Leggat used to endlessly put it: "I couldn't possibly say". Nah, SBS is - IMHO - just generally disrespectful untowards my opinions, by now it doesn't matter about what. I've been respectfully adviced not to read or indeed comment on his stuff and will keep doing so. (Sorry to the admin if saying so goes against the "Law of the Land".) As for the topic at hand, we don't dance with the fairies at night over here, that's a Scottish/Irish if not to say Celtic (with /k/) thing. Thus, I can assure everyone that I have not been "away with any fairy".

PRW 0
Snatched from FF ... news from a Sunderland board Just passing it on. Sounds like shite to me but we wait and see, whether he sells Newcastle or not he's clearly the man pulling the strings at Ibrox.

Darthter 542
I heard someone mention this.... With Newcastle, Ashley could pump in £100m+ and still have minimal prospects of getting to the Champions league, never mind winning it. With Rangers, an investment of £20m would pretty much guarantee champions league football every year, and all the monetary & marketing benefits that come from such.

Absolute nonsense, under Ally McCoist and co.
