Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Interesting question ... that most likely will be met with the usual "tirades" about their pedigree and background and tax-crimes. No disrespect here, it is simply what you generally get. There hardly is any doubt that they want to make money, thus far though it is hard to prove that they actually made any. Why do you take issue with these 'tirades'? What have they done for us? You seem to make a dig at the rest of the forum in every single post.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
have heard it said in certain circles it may be to present a more acceptable front to their children. Present can wipe-out the past sort of thing. Could be wrong though. They must have been so proud seeing Daddy in the paper with Rafat Rizvi.

By now it has become "tirades" and you get very little info apart from that. If you know more about what they make from the club or what their intents are, feel free to enlighten us.
The Real PapaBear 0
If you were disqualified from taking control of a club officially, but you needed people who would do whatever you told them to do to act as a front, what sort of people would you look to employ? Perhaps you would look for the sort of people who are sociopathic enough that they do not care one iota for the club they are supposed to represent and are completely impervious to public criticism or pressure but not intelligent enough to think for themselves or pose any sort of threat to your ambitions?

Siam69 0
disqualified as in not being able to control two clubs at the same time Ok, understand. But do you believe that was their motivation for getting involved when they did, surely that's a more recent development?

We don't know when Ashley got involved for the first time and I suspect 'those who cannot be named' might be called 'Ashley'

What we do know as irrefutable facts that they were not placed on the board by Green for their experience as directors of public limited companies nor for their knowledge of coroprate governance and certainly not for their previous experience in running a football club, I lean towrds the fact it's their lack of experience in those areas that helped clinch it. They want to be seen as more respectable. The best laid schemes o' mice an' men...... Green and co view them as ideal patsies. They mostly bought in at 70p a share I think which has seen them become joke figures in the members lounge because of their little experience in the corporate world. The flack they've taken, mostly brought on by themselves, has made them more determined to shaft us. I very much doubt both brothers will ever be accepted. Rumour is both bruvas have served their purpose and could depart soon. It beggars belief if they actually paid 70p and not an effective 49p.
