Ser Barristan Selmy 222
I wouldn't trust Ally to spend 10p wisely, never mind £10m. IF it is true, and he does get £10m, we can expect to see many more over priced & over rated players being brought in....probably at the older end of the age-scale. He will still complain than he needs more money to strengthen the team!!! There's really no point in including 'if it is true'. We have more chance of winning the champions league this season. forlanssister 3,114
he put that money into Murray Sports(or whatever it was called).did he get it back though? Ask BDO who was the second largest shareholder with just over 5% in RFC plc and the reply won't be Murray Sports will it? Please show us where in either the RFC plc or Murray Sports accounts there is a £20m payment to Dave King.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
The board couldnt accept or reject. They weren't in a position to do either. As I said earlier it was/is a shareholders decision So what you are saying is his offer was rejected . I never specified who rejected it.
RANGERRAB 3,669
So what you are saying is his offer was rejected . I never specified who rejected it. His 'offer' was a non-starter. It couldnt be accepted or rejected by the board. Probably did it to impress his deluded band of followers who still think he is being denied ownership of Rangers. He isnt - unless he's willing to stump up the cash and buy a significant shareholding which he says he's not willing to do.

der Berliner 3,744
King is the only of them who has actually a proven record of putting hard cash into the Club - he put in double the amount being banded about here 14 years ago! Fair enough. Ashley put a 130m loan into Newcastle to keep them financially stable and to further his business interests. He had a poor choice of manager(s). What he will do to further his business interests with Rangers is anyone's guess, as the Newcastle route is hardly an option. His way is not the one I want to see our club to take, but at this moment and time we'll have to live with his way.
