craig 5,199
The article about Weir wanting to extend his stay is already a good indicator that WS is looking for players that WANT to play for the jersey and our great club. And if Weir wants to extend then why not - as long as his wages aren't astronomical then he will be good to have in the dressing room - if you read Stubbs' comments about him when he left Everton it seems he commands a lot of respect from his fellow players - we could be doing with that.

Unsure on this one. I'll watch him a few games and see how he fairs with general fitness and his pace. Speed could be a big worry for me. As I say though, assess him after a few more games.
pete 2,542
For those who read my every word, and i believe there is someone in outer Mongolia, they will remember a post i done on going to a FC Twente match, where i pointed out that one player stood out head and shoulders above the rest. That player was Jason Culina. Since that time PSV signed him and i thought shit i wish Rangers had signed him. On saying that 3 things worry me. He never made it at Ajax. He played 7 games with PSV. Since he left, Twente have gone from a bottom of the league team to a 4th place team. The last point is a bit of banter as he can't be blamed for being the difference as there have been many changes. I thought he was a good player and a class above the rest of the Twente team of that time but he has struggled at PSV. I do rate him higher than what i have seen of Charlie Adam.

Pete is the Dutch Gersnet scout (pimp) and if he says Culina is someone who'd do well for Rangers then I agree. Jason Culina, who's the daddy?

I will have her nicely trained for full satisfaction,
ascender 352
Apparently Celtic have put an offer in for Brown & Thomson which will see them being loaned back for the rest of the season.
ascender 352
Walter has confirmed that bids are in for a number of players, but that if pushed, he'll wait until the summer. Also, Falkirk have turned down another bid for Gow.
theboyharley 5
Anyone think that Sproule would be a good option for us. He's still a very raw looking player but his pace could be handy coming off the bench. Think he's scored 9 goals for Hibs this season from an advanced midfield position which isnt a bad return for an attacking midfielder
