What sort of names do you have in mind that would come under 'real class'?

He done it with Newcastle and the fans still turn up to watch so he'll turn a few up for us I suppose, as for names you'll just have to wait

we need 8 - 12 international class players before next season. the sooner ashley starts bringing them in the better.

No! We will need that for Europe the following season, next season we only need 3 or 4

Anybody think Ashley will import some players in during the January window that will fill seats, I'm talking real class players?

We have no money to do this currently.

As it stands our costs remain far too high and we have no income to match. Ashley's loan of £2m is just to keep the lights on.

A share issue may raise more funds but it's debatable how much this will be for. In that sense, I doubt there will be much money available for new players - not unless we move on 2 or 3 of the existing ones anyway. Yes, we may bring 1 or 2 in on loan but no-one of any 'real class' will be moving to Rangers as long as we play in the second tier and/or without European football.

And that's before we consider if Ashley feels McCoist is to remain as manager.
