chilledbear 16
From BBC ... McLaughlin It is believed that, in their battle for control, Ashley and King have both tabled bids involving around £2m up front, leading to eventual funding of around £16m. Both loan elements would be secured against various Rangers assets and both deals call for representation on the board. However, while Ashley is demanding two representatives on the board, King also wants to choose its chairman. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29761396

forlanssister 3,114
In another of those weird and wonderful co-incidences in the world of Rangers Brian Kennedy made £32m selling shares in a company called Entu on Wedenesday. It was floated by Zeus Capital.

forlanssister 3,114
Was that the sale price or his profit? His profit. Still owns 20% of the company. Had to laugh at this little gem.... Richard Hughes of Zeus said: "To get this deal away in this market is a great achievement, in fact up there with our best I think. http://www.thebusinessdesk.com/northwest/news/680939-home-improvements-firm-entu-in-65m-aim-float.html# I doubt if was a great achievement than his 2.2m penny shares in Rangers for £22k . Or this staggering 441% interest dressed up as an arrangement fee on a loan that was probably never advanced 9.1 It was noted that an undertaking of £2,000.000 was provided by Zeus capital to the Administrators of RFC 2012 plc on 13 June 2012 to ensure the Company complied with the obligations under the Offer Letter (the “Zeus Undertaking”). In addition Zeus Capital Limited provided a loan facility on 12 June 2012 to the Company of £590,000 to enable the Company to pay the consideration due under the APA (the “Loan Facility”). The terms of the loan facility were agreed orally but not documented and with funds being advanced with an arrangement fee of £50,000 per week). 9.2 In consideration for the provision of the Zeus Undertaking, the Company agreed on 13 June 2012 to the allotment of 2,200,000 new ordinary shares at a placing price of £0.01 per ordinary share which were subscribed for and paid for in cash (the 2Undertaking Consideration Shares”). The Company produced to the meeting a board resolution from Zeus Capital Limited dated 17 October 2012 confirming that the Zeus Undertaking had been underwritten by Richard Hughes personally and authorising Zeus Capital Limited to make the necessary arrangements with the Company. The Company reported that it had received instructions by email from Zeus Capital Limited dated 17 October 2012 to issue the Undertaking Consideration Shares to Richard Hughes. 9.3 It was acknowledged that the Zeus Undertaking was released in full by the Administrators of RFC 2012 plc following completion of the APA and that the balance of the Loan Facility together with the arrangement fee had been repaid in full on 14 August 2012.
