chilledbear 16
Dave King's talks with Sandy Easdale ended without agreement. If this surprises anyone then it shouldn't.
the gunslinger 3,366
hardly a surprise.
Zappa 0
When Sandy Easdale and his puppet masters are calling the shots then nothing is a surprise.

RANGERRAB 3,671
I wouldn't entirely say the King & co offer is dead in the water just yet. Money needs to be sourced from somewhere. If not this offer where? Loans would be suicidal IMO
pmu 0
if this is knocked back by the easdales and co, then King needs to come out with documented evidence of the deal offered, who the players (other investors etc) are, what they wanted in return , who they wanted to run the business and their vision for the club (realistic not CL in two years shite). If that is a coherent and reasonable package that was offered then every single fan HAS to stop going to Ibrox and STOP buying any merchandise and let the ashleys and easdales and whoever know that without money coming in there is nothing in it for them. On the other hand if King etc have offered a bag o shite then that would be apparent if they are open and honest..
the gunslinger 3,366
The sun seems optimistic
Super Cooper 0
Yeah i think if King is knocked back then we must see the details of his offer to see if it was realistic or not. He could be asking for too much.
chilledbear 16
Surely King would have anticipated this, there must be other strings to his bow.
RANGERRAB 3,671
The next move in all of this will be most interesting indeed bearing in mind the dire financial situation. Will the board be forced to eat humble pie & go back to King & co or do they have alternatives in the pipeline? who knows
