maybe Ashley and king could buy 50% each and run the club if we don't get some kind of stability we are heading down the road to ruin

SHARING power.. Where does that fit into either of their psyche..

Forget about King, i have lost all faith in him. Ashley for good or bad looks like the man in the driving seat. We can keep battling him or work with him? I'm to tired now to worry any more.

Speaking to a couple of yahoos at work yesterday they're absolutely petrified of Ashley owning Rangers

I think Ashley would be a decent owner.

Any new owner needs to tell supporters how they intend to take the club forward. We hear next to nothing from the current board.

The only issue I have with Ashley is his PR is virtually non existent. However he would provide much needed financial stability.

The only PR he is interested in is seeing Sports Direct plastered everywhere, he gets that and it costs Newcastle circa £30m in commercial revenue.

I posted this the other day:

Ashley would apparently say yes to any would-be purchaser of Newcastle who comes up with around £267m – thereby covering the £134m he paid for Newcastle in 2007 plus more than £150m in interest-free loans.

The original and actual quote is in here:

The arithmetic is a bit dubious but would you expect any money Ashley pumps into Rangers - if he becomes the majority owner of the club - to be a loan and not a gift?
