MikeN63 0
May I remind posters to be very careful in what you allege about these people... this may have been said before and I've seen a few administrators messages similar to this before, but when have we had a Board or even a management team, where we worried about criticising performance at any level, without possible court level consequences? it does show that this is, genuinely, the most worrying period of our long history and that worry has been sustained over the last three years, please let it end. Stimpy 0
Zappa, they're the ever remaining constant in this mess. Doesn't matter who is the CEO, both bruvas are side by side keeping an eye on them.
MikeN63 0
the other one is they're never in the middle of anything, they never own the stage, which is obviously the issue at Rangers, may not be such bad news if they had the financial capability at Rangers, but they need funding from elsewhere.

Good point. From a strategic perspective in the public eye both don't have a place. That said, I can see Ashley disposing of them when he feels they've served their purpose.

Oleg_Mcnoleg 50
I've always assumed that they were deliberately doing Ashley's bidding. I hadn't considered the possibility that they're actually morons.
Frankie 8,665
They're not morons as they're clearly capable of running a successful business. Sure solid advice from employees can help in that respect but they've done well with their public transport business so it can't all be down to luck - or other factors. When it comes to Rangers, it seems pretty obvious they're placemen for other people - most probably Charles Green or someone the Yorkshireman brought on board such as Ashley. With around 26% of the shareholding they're key people in the running of the club though it's debatable just how long they'll be involved going forward.
