buster. 5,257
Stockbridge wasn't sacked? Rangers announces that by mutual consent Brian Stockbridge is leaving the Company and has resigned as a director of the Company and its subsidiaries with immediate effect. Rangers confirm that no ex gratia benefit or bonus has been offered or paid to Brian Stockbridge in connection with the termination of his employment or office. The Directors would like to thank Brian for his contribution to the Club during a difficult period. The Board has commenced the search for a new Finance Director. A further announcement will be made in due course. http://rangers.g3dhosting.com/regulatory_news_article/369 Furthermore it had almost certainly been planned prior to the AGM, over a month earlier.
Rangersitis 0
Stockbridge wasn't sacked? There's an echo in here.
SteveC 150
There's an echo in here. There's lots of annoying things like that in her but we are all on good behaviour because Frankie (quite rightly) read the riot act, albeit in his usual polite manner...,
Stimpy 0
so we have paid him out because he has a letter from his mate green saying things that weren't in his rangers contract. we should have boycotted months ago to stop this kind of thing. they could never have let it go to court anyway or we would have found out just how onerous the contracts are. We've paid out to a guy who was sacked for gross misconduct. In most other businesses any bonus entitlement would scrapped.

We could have been rid of each and every one of the tres amigos (Green, Ahmad and Stockbridge) via Gross Misconduct but they all look after each other and feed off the club. It summed up their MO.

Zappa 0
We know Ahmad was claiming £120k in legal expenses, so it's probably safe to assume he's been paid the legal expenses + a sweet six figure sum. I'd be very surprised if the settlement was for less than £300k.
aweebluesoandso 290
Handy Easdale (no Freudian slip there) makes an onerous statement in the Rebel about the clubs financial distress, within a day someone's Pakistani friend is successful in court ring-fencing £650k of the club's assets. Then within another few day £3mil is raised in the share offer, not before a few hours earlier our Pakistani friend is settled out of court. You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to work this case out, i'm calling this one 'The Case Of purely coincidental domino effect' aye that will be fecking right.
