an interview with STV News, Easdale also said former chief executive Charles Green and convicted fraudster Rafat Rizvi were not part of his plans for Ibrox

I take it that this was pre-ST-sale drop and what happened over the summer? Anyhow, the same journo had an article about Rizvi and his talks with Stockbridge et al before. They thus knew what sort of person this was, did they report him to the police while taking snap-shots? If not, does that mean that a) Rivzi is no longer wanted or b) they made themselves guilt of letting him "escape"?

Anyway ...

Interpol cannot do anything to Rizvi in countries that have do not have extradition treaties with Indonesia. No EU country can extradite Rizvi to Indonesia as they have the death penalty.

Through the Hong Kong ruling, Amir said the government would be able to seize US$4.07 million of the total $6.8 million hidden in Hong Kong by the bank’s former owners Hesham al-Warraq, a Saudi Arabian national, and Rafat Ali Rizvi, a British citizen, who were sentenced in absentia to 15 years behind bars in 2011.

I see, since you sure done your homework on Rivzi, why would Interpol send him in Indonesia?

EDIT: Time4change did a better job already.

Why would they be guilty of that ? It isn't the jouirnos job to shop criminals. Sure, morally they should but it isn't a legal obligation. If Easdale had lunch with him is he guilty of letting him escape too ?
