jhunter 0
He wouldn't be throwing his money down a black hole. He'd be acquiring a significant shareholding(which wouldn't cost him a lot at the moment)which would allow him influence in the way Rangers are run. why won't he do that? Are you paying the slightest bit of attention as to what is pouring out of Ibrox right now regarding the signing away of our income streams?

Are you paying the slightest bit of attention to what I wrote ? If King bought a shareholding then he'd get influence and be able to begin to put an end to this sort of thing. It wouldn't happen overnight though butif King is as wealthy as his supporters make out what's stopping him?

They won't sell a controlling interest and even if they did they have the club hamstrung with "onerous contracts". He won't be able to run the club properly. And forget about it being Dave King - that is true if ANYONE wanted to buy it.
der Berliner 3,744
Can someone point out these "onerous contracts", preferrably in the accounts or the like? Who are the beneficiaries?

All of these rich guys could get together, but they want Rangers for themselves. Replied to 0 times John DC Gow @JohnDCGow · 1h Only a consortium or single person buying out those with shares and injecting capital will save Rangers now. Anything else is fantasy. Supporters need to face reality that this is as bad, or worse, than 2012. https://twitter.com/JohnDCGow

I was amazed at how high they got. Why couldn't King(or someone) have acquired 20 percent shareholding? They'd certainly be able to influence the club then would they not?

Also do you know the terms of the retail contract to Sports Direct?

Quite bizarre a thing to say if people looking for answers ... BTW, while it makes good noises, this 1 pound stuff, I actually believe that Ashley pays quite a bit more than that cometh the time.
