the gunslinger 3,366
Or we could go down the same route as the east end and set up an entirely new company. That would mean we'd have one club two companies(they have three companies one club).A possibity? aren't we at 2 already?

Hildy 0
We have fans who don't want the current board. We also had fans who wanted rid of David Murray. We now have fans who don't want Dave King and some don't want Rangers to be a fan-owned club either. What exactly do those fans want for Rangers - and how are they going to make it happen? Everyone can be a critic, but possible solutions should also be on offer. Can those who say no to just about everything tell us what they would say yes to - and explain what Rangers fans should be doing right now other than just waiting and hoping?

So fan ownership is out then:P Realistically we need to compromise on ownership between supporters and wealthy individuals who care about the club. Getting there makes climbing Everest look like a walk in the park.

Getting there makes climbing Everest look like a walk in the park. Fan ownership is very much in, but for those who are rejecting it, and who reject past, present and even possible future owners, they must surely recommend a course of action that they approve of - or is it the usual - sit back, grumble, and offer nothing at all. Fan ownership will triumph in the end, but if it takes too long, Rangers could find it difficult to recover to a level that most expect us to be at.

I think we need to find a happy medium from somewhere, and fast! Too many fans are not involved in fan ownership and that's with the near 8000 fans the RST have had as members since inception. Most RF members are current or past RST members so they haven't reinvented the wheel with that. Our wealthy supporters tried under Murray and during admin but never got the gig. King's trying but going round in circles with the institutions and David Murray apparently had a bid knocked back three weeks ago. At the same time wealthy supporters are cagey about getting involved with supporters because of the online anarchy that envelops forums and social media, though the RST have had some success in being able to work besides and support, for which they are appreciative. We're a strange bunch when it comes to the club outside of following the team.
Dragonfly Trumpeter 50
There is still no guarantee that they will get the required number of votes to launch another share issue. Things should become clearer once the updated percentages are revealed. They will get the required number and a fully under-written open share issue will happen soon. Then the fun will begin.
