craig 5,199
Recent events have given the share price a bit of hammering. A drop of 2p might not seem like much, but it is when the price is so low and 8% is almost as bad as the impact from the LSE announcement of Wallace's 'Business Review and Strategic Plan Update' which caused the share price to drop by well over 11%. Too simplistic a view Zappa. What also needs to be taken into account is the fact that the Rangers shares are very thinly traded, so each trade will have an effect on share price which can be sizeable. If someone is keen to sell as they need liquidity or just want out, dropping their asking price by 2p isn't much, though it looks a whole lot more when you see 26p share price.... but the reality is that the shares are too thinly traded for that to be the "normal" share price. Not explaining very well, but when shares aren't traded thousands of times a day it is difficult to get a proper trend of the price.
Zappa 0
Would they buy at 23p/24p when they can buy at 20p in the fire sale? Someone who wants to make money on a personal investment wouldn't do so, but someone who's asked to purchase shares for a specific reason obviously would, especially if it's not technically their own money being spent on the shares.

Completely understand you mate, so you must have explained it well enough! Regarding a 'proper trend of the price', here's a chart which shows the whole shooting match:

Rangersitis 0
Another 1% drop today, but as Zappa predicted, a good few shares were picked up.
