forlanssister 3,114
Failure to win this tournament this year will not be acceptable. Failure to win it in the previous two years should not have been acceptable either!
26th of foot 6,126
The real shockeroonie tonight is that Hearts only had one player cautioned.

Rangersitis 0
It's a joke of a competition anyway. The team have far greater problems that need to be solved ahead of trying to win a meaningless trophy that ranks alongside the Glasgow Cup in terms of kudos.
chilledbear 16
Sort ourselves out and winning trophies is like night follows day, it's what Rangers are all about.

I would say the Glasgow Cup was miles more prestigious back in the day. For the simple reason - you had to beat them to win it. I remember going to a full house against them on a few occasions in the GC.
elfideldo 411
Hearts treated this tournament the way we should have, they have gone out but the benefit of giving young players a bit of experience is more important in my opinion. Pretty much an under 20 team for Hearts including there former Rangers players in Liam Smith, Gary Oliver and Robbie Buchanan. Meanwhile despite being 5-0 up at half-time McCoist couldn't take the chance of giving Andy Murdoch as much as a minute on the pitch, and people wonder why our youth players are declining contract extensions.
RANGERRAB 3,884
Meaningless tournament.Should have used U21 players but our manager is so desperate to win absolutely anything to give himself much-needed credibility he put out a full strength side.
