Stimpy 0
I demand to know how much Ashley is paying for the ridiculous number of advertising hoardings he has at Ibrox. Probably zero. Jackson on Twitter thinks Green's behind the latest rumours. Is the seven days for him and his, ahem, investors to invest £10m not passed?
der Berliner 3,744
Ok, just to give them the benefit of the doubt, I shall put the Easdale quote to one side for now, however, Wallace made his claim AFTER the 120-day review was published and the Ibrox 1972 Trust Fund had already been put in place at this point. And you would put it beyond those "possible investors" that Wallace mentioned (real or not) to have changed their opinion since?
the gunslinger 3,366
Even sdm paid fair market value for his advertising.
der Berliner 3,744
That's true but Ashley's work at Newcastle hasn't been convincing so some guidance on his thoughts for Rangers would be nice. Unfortunately, despite his obvious business acumen, the guy seems to hide from any sort of accountability which is a worry given recent events at Rangers. Yep, we sure would want more info on him. The problem is that much of what we hear comes from disgruntled Magpies, i.e. may or may not be a "true" evaluation of his work for their club. By the looks of it, sections of the Magpies' support don't want him, his heart is not with the club, but no-one's coming up with the asking price. Where have we heard similar before?
Rangersitis 0
And you would put it beyond those "possible investors" that Wallace mentioned (real or not) to have changed their opinion since? What has changed in the interim for them to alter their stance? You claimed in your last answer that it was the financial results and ST boycott. It wasn't 'possible' investors either. At the push of a button, indeed!

So you put it beyond people to change their minds on a daily basis if need be, not least when it concerns their money?
Rangersitis 0
So you put it beyond people to change their minds on a daily basis if need be, not least when it concerns their money? Is that the extent of your argument? It is possible, if somewhat improbable, that existing investors just decided to change their minds on a whim, even when they were, according to the guy who had previously lied to the AGM, still prepared to sink more money in despite being aware of the mismanagement of funds and the mass refusal to buy season tickets.
BrahimHemdani 1
How far into the medium/long term will this £4m of financing run? Please bear in mind that there has been no notification that the previous short-term financing initiative has been repaid. There should be no need for anyone to underwrite the share issue. Graham Wallace claimed to have £5m of equity funding available from current investors and Sandy Easdale stated that they had investors lined up - unless both were, shudder the thought, lying in order to pull the wool over the eyes of the support. Have to be brief as I'm at the airport but dB has answered anyway. Put simply the circumstances have changed since then.

Perhaps you can better explain than der Berliner has so far, but in what way have the circumstances changed?

Man, what is it that you want to hear? Dissatisfaction with the board? The club? Maybe so. Perhaps some more private matters for these chaps? Perhaps they view investment somehwere else as more profitable now, like sponsorship of a team from a country that impressed them during the world cup? Dozens of options possible. It's not that hard a line of thought to follow, is it?
