We absolutely have to get in a manager that plays football correctly with a possession based approach to football.

We need to move a million miles away from the ghastly football that Walter Smith brought to Rangers which, regrettably, has continued under Ally McCoist.

We need a good manager of course, but we need a good manager who likes to have his team playing in an attractive manner. We do not need another safety-first type who will continue the monotony even longer. We need a clean break from unwatchable football.

I'm no expert on the English game, but from what I hear, Pullis is not what we need and not what we should be looking for.

BBC Sport Crystal Palace are set to appoint Neil Warnock as their new manager.

The 65-year-old, who was in charge of Palace between 2007 and 2010, has been preferred to former West Brom boss Steve Clarke.

Palace chairman and co-owner Steve Parish has turned to Warnock as a successor to Tony Pulis after Malky Mackay was ruled out last week.

Warnock has money to spend and discussions will continue over the make-up of his backroom staff.

Rubbish appointment. Warnock is a dinosaur who will send them down playing terrible football.

Now if it's truly terrible football they wanted.....why didn't they get a real expert like Ally in?
