Whoever was asking the questions should have been asking the same to those in the mysterious Easdale block of proxies...........this is where the 'onerous contracts' came from.

Colin Kingsworth has a track record of flexibility regards what he announces......

We'll vote as the fans want......................................Sorry, we'll change our mind.

From a post of mine (FF) late last year.

Laxey are free to vote the way that they want but consider this.....

1. Laxey indicate that they'd vote with the support.

2. Six main supporters groups under one umbrella announce that they want change.

3. Laxey buy more shares and announce they will vote with the current board.

4. Supporters groups question the about turn given support want change.

5. Laxey say that in their view supporters groups only represent small numbers of support.

6. Ibrox on Saturday showed a majority of match-day (ST holders) supporters want change, aswell as the six main fans groups.

7. Meeting today.

Now Laxey are free to vote the way they please regardless but if they were to remain on the current boards' block, it would be indicate that they either never intended to vote alongside the support or there is another reason for their change in heart.

As the largest shareholder of a company that desperately needs transparency, I hope they reverse their announcement of a few weeks ago or make everything very clear why not.

They need to explain to the support,...... the revenue stream that enables the business to function.

Only time will tell whether Kingsnorth speaks for Laxey or himself. On face value this should settle some nerves. We should not be daft enough to think that he and they are here solely for the benefit of Rangers, but even in that respect the scale can be enormous. Just going at them with the "money-grabber"-club appears a bit premature though, much like any "fan-groups" infighting stuff. As the OP says, it would do well if decent reporters would put these questions to these people, rather than fans trying to get into contact one way or another.

To more important question for me would be whether he backs the current board and the people involved up there, even though he might not be willing to give an answer anyway.

Matter of fact, that's rather plain. Why would Laxey know about the "true identity" (whoo-hoo) of another shareholder group or those behind another Holding? Even if they could ask, why bother if it is of no interest to them? They "own" no less than BPH or Margarita, BTW.
