True_Ger_1872 2
I cant understand how they can take a view in that when the club didn't include him in the squad for the St Patrick's game, then they don't count towards the 3 match ban. The reason he would have been included in the squad for the Celtic tie would have been that he was eligible for the return leg. Just don't get it...
Zappa 0
They certainly don't deserve to go through given the circumstances of such a heavy defeat, but nothing would surprise me any more. The whole thing stinks.

RANGERRAB 3,740
Why does a club need to register a player for a tie for which he is ineligible for? The player effectively served a three game ban
Zappa 0
Think of the co-efficient! Sod that, I'm only interested in that mob losing out on the riches of the CL group stage. If they get there because of this and get a financial boost of nearly £20m it shows up the whole game as total farce.
BrahimHemdani 1
Oscar Pestorious has sacked his counsel and hired ra Sellik's lawyers. Well, having lost both legs, they still secured a victory. That's such a poor comment that it is beneath even description as being in bad taste.
BrahimHemdani 1
Whilst the decision to award the tie to Legia 3-0 may well be strictly in accordance with the Rules it is well worth an appeal as the player DID serve his 3 game ban and Legia did not gain any advantage from him coming on.
BrahimHemdani 1
UEFA might even support an Appeal against themselves as the outcome is so embarrassing. UEFA can appeal against themselves as happened to us over certain chants.

First games due to be played in 10 days or so.
Zappa 0
Is there any precedent of a team getting such a heavy defeat and then getting through on such a technicality?
