Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Nope! He saw the haters for what they were. Took a while fair enough, but he actually recognised there was a concerted anti-Rangers campaign. I cannot wait to read his book once he is released from his "non disclosure agreement". He was Craig Shyte's moutpiece originally who wrote idiotic blog pieces catering to the moronic side of our support who championed his nonsense. The articles he wrote on our website were utterly ridiculous but people loved it because they wanted to hear it. Even if it was tragic to see a club like us saying such things. Could you imagine a club like Barca or Man Utd writing such subjective garbage. He then did bugger all bar an embarrassing interview with McCoist that was one of the most pathetic things I've seen in my life. PS - I had high hopes for him, I loved 'Your Call'.
Hildy 0
Look at where we are: The club comes out with a belated and ineffectual statement and it is greeted with cynicism and ridicule. We know and are grateful for the fact that the club is the same one we grew up with, but in our hearts, we surely know that something fundamental has changed. We, the members of Gersnet, are more the club than this regime will ever be, but it has the power and we don't. This is where we are at. When the club speaks, it speaks for a commercial entity that has control of a football club that we have considerable affection for. It doesn't speak for Rangers half as much as we do. We need change: urgently.

You are such a fine exponent of exactly that! I give up! You just keep on living in your little "my top's not being replaced" and "I hate Ally" wonderland. Enjoy!!!
buster. 5,257
[h=2]Club Statement[/h]WRITTEN BY RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB "RANGERS Football Club Limited (the "Club") notes the findings of Lord Doherty in the HMRC case against Rangers Football Club plc (Oldco) and shares the views of many fans that so much of what later ensued at our Club following the start of that investigation was avoidable. "We are pleased to see the end of this sorry chapter in the history of Rangers FC, yet our greatest sympathy is with those who felt the pain of the last four years the most – our supporters. "In spite of almost unrelenting attacks and setbacks they have never flinched from supporting their football club with all their energy and resolve. "It is a matter for the authorities to explain their actions during this entire period that has seen the good name of Rangers severely damaged. "Our focus is on rebuilding the football club and getting Rangers back to where we belong. That, in itself, will help right some of the wrongs our Club and supporters have suffered over the last four years." Most of them coming from and being caused by the boardroom of RIFC, their friends and associates along the way. "Energy & resolve"........are they too embarrassed to mention money ? So you are incapable of arguing against the points I raised. At least we have established that.
der Berliner 3,803
Normal statement from a group of people who lead another company. Do they feel the sympathy they speak of? Why not? Some folk should simply take of their "they are Anti-Christ incarnate" glasses every now and then.

Some folk should simply take of their "they are Anti-Christ incarnate" glasses every now and then. In their defence you could say that they, their friends and associates are actually trying to inject some ironic humour into the situation or put another way,.... rip the p**h. Significant that they didn't want to mention money (in their usual corporatespeak of 'passionate fans backing the club').......... but instead used "energy and reslove" Funny that the "energy and resolve" falls on deaf ears when directed towards RIFC and of occasion may even result in lawyers letters in protest of the same "energy and resolve".
