If we did get Nerlinger I hope we'd get him on the training ground as well.

Wasn't a great success for us a player. That was a depressing summer IIRC, Im sure we sold Gio, Albertz and Reyna and only brought in Nerlinger and Latapy to replace them.

He was finished when he played for us, much like Jonas Thern, Thern was the real player of the two, Unfortunate we didn't get more from him.

Can anyone find the Thern goal v Celtic!

PS - If in once upon a time land Nerlinger does join us, perhaps we should get him in a trois player/manager/DOF role, for he would be a vast improvement on all fronts.

PSS - found the goal

I essentially have a heart attack whenever we score v the ******** or in Europe. These are the moments I live for.

There is more chance of DB talking sense than Nerlinger becoming our DOF.

A big name random name propagated at season ticket renewal time is not a new concept.

Just in case ...

Selmy, could you please stop getting personal with der Berliner as they get enough stick as it is already without winding him (or her) up with random insults.

This request applies to everyone and isn't isolated to remarks about dB. Just play nice please and ditch the personal crap. Thanks.

Would dearly like to see a job description for this 'DoF' position(or whatever its called). And by what method(s) do the board intend to determine its success( or failure).

The corporate speak from the infamous business review.

"Strengthen the Club’s Football Operations - With the creation of the new position of Chief Football Operations Officer, with specific responsibility for developing best in class football operations support. This new role will support the Football Manager and the Board and will concentrate initially on developing player talent identification, scouting and recruitment capability"
