Would you want Butcher?

As big Tel is moved on from Hibs he has been mentioned for us many a time. Would you prefer him to Ally now? TBH Im not a Ally fan as a manager but I don't want Butcher. He'd bring Mo Malpas and I don't see them as a big enough step up at all for me. Id have Calderwood and Nicholl ahead of them all day long.

I think Butcher seen his move to Hibs as a stepping stone to something better - perhaps at Rangers.

 

Unfortunately it has went tits up for him in every possible way so I can't see how anyone would find him an agreeable prospect now.

Hibs the wrong fit though mate, in the shape they are in? You'll know better than me being in Midlothian.

He did which is why the move to Hibs was a strange one and certainly a huge risk.

 

Butcher's inability to stop their plummet towards relegation suggests he's far from ideal for Rangers.

Id have him ahead of Ally but with hindsight id prefer to look elsewhere.
