jhunter 0
wallace isn't the problem. if he cuts out the lies and illegal stuff he might. but greenco will still need removing or we will never get back to the top. Got to be seen as a positive though - the nuclear option of losing Ibrox and auchenhowie removed from possible options that no goooders can get up to.

So what exactly is the point in all this fuss about the stadium if it isn't even the defining issue?

simplythebest 0
To stop GreenCo from stealing or selling it. Better get security over the Loving Cup then. Seriously you've proved my point right here

The Real PapaBear 0
This could be a game-changer. It was always going to be a last resort for the board to hold serious talks with the fans so it looks like that resort has been reached for them. They really must be are at their wits end when they feel forced to sit at the negotiating table. The UoF mustn't compromise the core demands that Ibrox and Auchenhowie to taken out of harms way.

Seriously you've proved my point right here people won't accept mediocrity just because they give agree not to sell ibrox. Now if he also raises the 50 odd million we need to get back to the top then we can get behind him.
BrahimHemdani 1
If the Board instigated the meeting then it has to be because of the low level of ST sales and almost certainly means an extension of the deadline. However, even if they give a legally binding agreement (to whom or what, Ibrox 1972 Ltd, effectively King , not the fans) then they have given nothing at all because they have already said they will not grant security over Ibrox (Murray Park may well be another matter). It is hard to see a completely open ended agreement because that would restrict them too much, so the trick mught be to find an acceptable wording that has some kind of get out in certain circumstances. There is also the danger of setting a precedent that could be used in different circumstances in future seasons. On King's side it would allow him to withdraw, claiming victory; even although there will be many who dislike the tactics employed.

The whole point of this scheme was the 'protect' the stadium and training ground, but even if that happens you're more than happy for UOF to move the goalposts?
