Gribz 919
Cowie would be a decent signing and would probably take the Championship by storm but with the trend of players that go down hill under McCoist he may end up looking average. But competition for places is only a good thing and Ally cant be scared to drop players this season. If he has Cowie, Black, Law, Hutton and Macleod all fighting for centre midfield places then he has to play the best 2-3 players by form.
barca72 440
we have learned nothing, i always say it when talking about us we don't play to win we always play to not lose and in my opinion that's a massive difference We can keep doing that as long as we keep winning leagues.
BrahimHemdani 1
I have often criticised Bougherra for his part in the Malmo disaster but looking at his perfromances in the WC, he appears to have matured and didn't seem out of place in that company. I didn't realise that he was a free agent till last night's commentary. At near 32 he might accept the kind of wages we could offer and would be a big step up from McCulloch or Mohsni; but could not be played with Mohsni. Concern is he only played 43 games in 3 seasons at Lekhwiya; so a one year deal like the other over-30's perhaps? A possible solution at RB? Super Cooper 0
Bougherra has said he would come back to Rangers and play for free. I wonder if we have even asked the question. "What would it take to bring you back?"

"What would it take to bring you back?" Cuellar said he wanted to stay for life! But Cuellar and Bougherra, not the fastest partnership perhaps but they would stroll through next season and one or two more.

By: Scott Burns Published: Tue, July 1, 2014 The Bluebirds offered the midfielder a fresh two-year deal yesterday. Gers boss Ally McCoist is keen to sign Cowie, who is out of contract this summer. The 31-year-old played a major part in helping the Welsh side reach the Premier League, but then lost his place last season. Cardiff boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer holds the key and if Cowie gets an assurance that he will get his chance then he is likely to remain. Rangers have been on the former Ross County player’s trail for weeks. McCoist spoke to the player and then asked chief executive Graham Wallace to make an offer, but it’s understood that has not yet happened. Blackburn Rovers are also keen on Cowie. McCoist, who is hoping to add another two players, has already signed strikers Kris Boyd and Kenny Miller, and defender Darren McGregor from St Mirren.

I think both would come back.
chilledbear 16
DERBY County are casting an eye over midfielder Scott Allan. The 22-year-old free agent is currently on trial with the Rams. He started his career at Dundee United and signed for West Bromwich Albion in January 2012. Loan spells followed at Portsmouth, MK Dons and Birmingham City. We'll need a whole new midfield for the SPL bar maybe Macleod.
