Frankie 8,663
Crawford looks half-decent, nothing more. A year elsewhere would give him the chance to contribute properly and show he's worth developing.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
First team football is good but as you say, surely Crawford is better than the lowest tier. Would smell of Ferguson asking for a favour/player and being given one, who if to be sent on loan would be better employed playing at a higher level. I'm sure he'd get a game with the likes of Cowdenbeath or Dumbarton if he applied himself. Crawford should say he wants to play at a better standard rather than his career be used for a 'favour'. Callum McGregor's loan spell at Notts County seems to have done him the world of good. There's little to learn in the lower tiers in Scotland and if we are loaning out youngsters we should try and get them in the English lower leagues. Of course that's dependent on whether they would be interested in the first place.

Zappa 0
Twitter rumour. Wigan bid 800k for Lewis Macleod. That's about a third of what the lad is worth. The vultures are circling again!
buster. 5,257
Twitter rumour. Wigan bid 800k for Lewis Macleod. Twitter is often pish but if I were in charge at an English club with some spare cash to invest, I'd be after LM for the right price.

This could very well be pish too. Just throwing it out there.
Waltersgotstyle 307
I would be extremely surprised if no one leaves today.
buster. 5,257
I would be extremely surprised if no one leaves today. With the dire and immediate financial situation we seem to have it would be almost negligent for the board not to try and raise some money/lower wages before midnight.
calscot 0
It would give the board a very small amount of breathing space, but whether they sell anyone will determine the length of game they are playing. Short termism will mean sale and withstanding the wrath of the fans.
der Berliner 3,808
Some more rumours (sic!) - Ian Black off to Nottingham Forrest for 500k. - Armstrong on his way to Rangers* - Wigan bid for MacLeod quoted as GBP 800,000. *That would Stuart Armstrong, the 22-year old midfielder from the Arabs. Did not play on Saturday, IIRC.
