But competition for places is only a good thing and Ally cant be scared to drop players this season. BrahimHemdani 1 Posted July 1, 2014 Share Posted July 1, 2014 (edited) I have often criticised Bougherra for his part in the Malmo disaster but looking at his perfromances in the WC, he appears to have matured and didn't seem out of place in that company. I didn't realise that he was a free agent till last night's commentary. At near 32 he might accept the kind of wages we could offer and would be a big step up from McCulloch or Mohsni; but could not be played with Mohsni. Concern is he only played 43 games in 3 seasons at Lekhwiya; so a one year deal like the other over-30's perhaps? A possible solution at RB? He started his career at Dundee United and signed for West Bromwich Albion in January 2012. Loan spells followed at Portsmouth, MK Dons and Birmingham City.
