Little wonder. 8 league goals in the last 3 seasons, his demise further illustrated by 3 goals in 19 for Dundee United last season. Another Scot that had talent but a terrible attitude and is destined for mediocrity. I see Killie are interested, that's his level. Stay away Rangers. Then again, he would be an improvement, but who wouldn't be.

He was over hyped in the first place though. At 22 he had only once hit double figures in the SPL. He was never great to begin with.

His overall goal scoring record in all comps is 63 in 225 :awesome:

If the Rangers Youth Coaches can't produce better players than Goodwillie, you have to ask why are they in their job?

I'd take Calum Gallacher or Ryan Hardie any day of the week, btw.

Has anyone heard anything about his injury record down in England?

The performance of the u20 team suggests the players are being produced, just the management at senior level isn't capable of developing and integrating them.

As soon as the league was won we should have played our u20's for the rest of the season.

Martin Skrtel, a centre half, scored more goals last season than Goodwillie has in the past 2. Skrtel plays in the Premiership. In fact in 12/13 Goodwillie quite spectacularly scored a grand total of 0 goals in the league.

To be honest I wouldn't be overly adverse to his signing, he'd be a significant improvement.
