Default Re: Kenny Miller signs 1 year deal - Official Confirmation

Those with a nervous disposition to ex players signing may wish to turn away now.

over on RM, their man close to the board aka BawsBurst is saying that Barry Ferguson may return as a player/coach

Please tell me we aren't offering Kyle Hutton a new deal? Frankie did I see you tweet a possible two year deal a few days ago? Unreal if true.

What's the chances we will offer him a two year deal and then pay him off at the end of next season.

Oh and he's rotten. A big stiff LAZY centre midfielder that's done absolutely NOTHING to warrant a new deal.

As far as I heard, we've given him another one-year deal. Was mentioned alongside the Miller signing. Had his greatest chance the season after admin and IMHO blew it big time. Macleod shot past him and even after the latter got injured, Hutton just failed to produce. Had a decent start to last season ere getting injured (Perry, Hegarty and Hutton were IMHO very "lucky" to pick up their season-wrecking injuires) and did not shine at all after returning. As with any Rangers player, I wish him well and hope he becomes a player. My main problem with the likes of him is that he is simply not someone I would put any priorities of having him at all. Faure, Black, Mohsni and even McCulloch can play in defensive midfield and I fear that McCoist might pack it with defense-minded folk instead of Aird, Templeton, McKay, Clark or Shiels.

Aye supposedly we've offered him a one year extension (with another year's option).

I'm not a fan of Hutton at all.

I don't think that would go down very well.

Miller might be the better all round player, but he's not as consistent and reliable a goal-scorer as Boyd is. Boyd scored 22 goals in 37 appearances for Killie last season and none of them were penalties.

As far as goals go,you're right, but Miller can contribute way more in different ways than Boyd.

bawsburst  he is not close to the board. He's never been right with any of his predictions.
