Hildy 0
There will be an attempt to use any new membership scheme to try and marginalise those other groups who don't tow the partyline and have become 'awkward'....(It will also look to control and manage communication with the fans). I don't know about headcount and numbers involved but if not too high, they may have considered writing them off, so to speak. Thinking a fair percentage would drift back but as individuals. Indeed. I want no part of it.
Tom Davison 0
Find it hard to believe that anyone can feel reassured in any way, following th Q and A. A goalkeeping coach would have admired Mr Wallace's ability to deflect the straight shots.
the gunslinger 3,366
For me, it was blamed on the negative publicity caused by the boycott efforts which created financial uncertainty to certain outside entities. If you want to turn that into blaming the fans (or you), so be it. Again, some folks on here will spin anything negative so he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. He lied in his review. There was no talk of a boycott when they asked for security. He tried to blame fans for something that had nothing to do with us. It was a shameful act.
Dragonfly Trumpeter 50
It might have been clear to you but I don't see that at all. I'd say it was directed at the reports of calls from Mr King and the UoF/SoS, rather than "fans" in general. It has been suggested that was a downright lie. So would it be okay to lie, blaming fans via King rather than directly, as you maintain they have not? I think you are seeing what you want to see because I don't see a difference in the term "coverage" and the term "media" and think its petty to nitpick the words like this. Anyone without an preconceived agenda wouldn't give two shits about the words. What you are seeing is a CEO who actively blamed an alleged supporters ST scheme for halting the cc financing structure. When, in fact, the gross mis-management of RIFC funds and massive cash burn was also given as the reason - in some quarters. Long before. The board can clarify their own position by publishing the communication with the cc mob from January. Then they may be in the clear. However, it may confirm they were told in January - long before any media coverage or supporter speculation re STs - and their position is absolutely untenable. But it really is very simple and Mr Wallace can clarify it at anytime he chooses.

gisabeer 409
Embarrassing sentiment for me no mate. just a very pissed off fan who follows Rangers home and away. I took him to his first Rangers game when he was 5 years old and took him for many years after that. not the most eloquent post you will ever read but like us he sees this exercise on twitter as a complete sham.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
This wasn't a live Q and A. I doubt he was even involved today. What clearly happened is they had certain answers stockpiled with generic baloney. They retweeted what they wanted to answer. Nothing was actually debated or answered here. The Emperor's new clothes springs to mind. I doubt he has ever used twitter. I read online recently that Avril Lavigne had a competition where 'lucky' fans could pay a huge fee to meet her. What actually happened is these fans paid a huge sum and were given a synthetic photo and were told to remain arms length away from her. They were not allowed to talk to her. (The photos are quite hilarious). A similar thing happened here. I just got a new account on another particular forum, I wonder if they will approve this post I just copied and pasted onto there

I also follow home and away, whatever he thought of the exercise that kind of tweet is an embarrassment and only makes sensible debate even harder. That's not to say i'm never guilty of similar myself.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Gutted I missed the opportunity to ask him a question or two, been driving all day..... I was going to say I wanted to see you let loose on this today . But given this was a copy and paste non event likely posted on twitter by a PA, I can safely deduce none of your questions would have been answered.
