the gunslinger 3,366
For your information... Blowing a raspberry at Dave King perhaps? We were told he had done this month's ago. But his total shareholding is now only what he bought today.

Zappa 0
Is he not positioning himself for a new share issue - shareholders only? I'm no expert, but I think this is more about the Chairman projecting a false impression of himself being confident of the financial position and well-being of the business. In other words, it's probably just a ruse to try to boost market and investor confidence slightly.
BrahimHemdani 1
Or maybe it's part of an agreed bonus? Who knows...?! How could it be a bonus if he purchased them? More likely (a) it was about time he had an interest and (b) he is fairly confident that the price will rise from here. This looks like them: 07-May-14 10:18:21 25.00 5,000 Buy* 07-May-14 09:46:27 24.00 5,000 Buy* 07-May-14 09:44:24 24.00 5,000 Buy* 07-May-14 09:40:12 24.1257 20,000 Buy* 22,000 were sold at 22p yesterday so that will be most of them. Most likely he knew someone who wanted to sell a few. I agree it's symbolic more than anything else.

Why would it have to be a false impression; could it not be that he IS confident of the future of the business however strange that might appear to us at this time.
