chilledbear 16
They must be dire then as Moshni and McCulloch are pretty poor We must strengthen the defence before any other part of the team. Ooops Ally wants a striker!!
Tumshie RFC 0
One thing Ally won't need to strengthen is midfield as we completely miss it out half the time.
buster. 5,257
Are Heggarty and Perry any worse than Moshni & McCulloch? That sentence helps crystalise where we are at present. Elsewhere I started a thread 12-18 months ago on how it may in the near future be possible to look at Newcastle Utd and get a relative idea of what will be on the Ibrox menu in many different areas. I still think that this may be the case if things drift. Wrt on the pitch, it would be the ongoing management of a lowering of expectation levels in conjunction with money that is to be made available.
Gribz 913
With funds a doubt Id rather see us look at loan signings from Premier League English clubs rather than signing more run of the mill Scottish premiership players on 3 year deals who we will be stuck with for a few years. These players often came during WS in the 90s and played better due to the talent in the rest of the squad but under Ally its a shame they go backwards. If we could get a Kyle Bartley or that standard then it is a good move for the season ahead.
Juancornetto 1
It doesn't really matter which players you bring in, they'll be coached by McCoist & Co and after a promising start in pre-season and the first few games they'll start to drop a pace or two and fall into line with the coaching that they're given. Distribution is dreadful, players are taking far too long to decide who to pass to and that's mostly because nobody around them is screaming for the ball or offering an option because they don't really want it. They'd rather not have the responsibility of taking the game to the opposition like they do to us every week. That's got to be down to the coaching.
Super Cooper 0
Are Heggarty and Perry any worse than Moshni & McCulloch? Incredibly, yes.
Super Cooper 0
Inside The SPFL @AgentScotland 11h Charlie Telfer will sign a 3 year contract with Dundee Utd as of July 1st, the contract is significantly less than he was offered at Ibrox.

Hard to criticise the boy, he wants to play football and he'll not get much of that where he is.
der Berliner 3,803
Are Heggarty and Perry any worse than Moshni & McCulloch? They both played last season and neither set the heather on fire. I'd assume that most would take Gasparotto and McAusland well ahead of themtwo.

This is not his fault. I actually admire his ambition.
