He was an excellent keeper 4 years ago when he was playing football.

I'm pretty sure he'll still be an excellent keeper and I wouldn't have a problem with us signing him if Simonsen is leaving.

But both JW & PLG were in the top division......we've been totally unimpressive against part timers

So the opposition makes you a better or worse coach?

36 games, 33 wins, 3 draws, 106 goals scored, 16 conceded, 102 points racked up. 39 points clear of the second placed team. Yes, we're rubbish.

Based on what? How is he suddenly going to have recovered?

Can you provide me with an example of any footballer in the history of the game who has played 1 match in 4 years and gone on to play regularly? It is utterly absurd.

I think if you watched our matches and didn't just read the stats you might have an altogether different view.

Us racking up wins in the third tier of Scottish football is like sticking Floyd Mayweather into a primary school boxing competition and rejoicing over his victories.

I really can't see us signing Craig Gordon this summer. He'll get a club down south on better wages than we can even dream of offering him and possibly come back to Ibrox in a few years time when he's Simmo's age.

Are you trolling? I'd be surprised if he ever plays another professional football match even for a team like montrose. He is finished.

If he has these glorious suitors where are they?

We've signed other players who haven't played much football and they definitely haven't been of the same pedigree as Gordon, but as I've said, it's a moot point because we're unlikely to sign him anyway.

Craig Gordon will go into the Guiness Book of Records I think if he somehow manages to reignite his career after a multiple year break. It has never been done and I doubt it ever will.

I'm not sure where on earth you are getting this idea that clubs down south want him, unless you are privy to something I'm not.

How do you know he is finished? He's been training with us for months. Would we even be having this conversation if he was finished?
