der Berliner 3,803
Wasn't there talk that he might take up a coaching role. Probably as much rumour as the above, but it makes a neat hat-trick of negative media coverage on our last match day.

Zappa 0
The saddest thing about signings like Cribari is that they are either just PR stunts aimed at our fans or they are completely unnecessary mistakes. Who scouted him? Who said it was a good idea to sign him? Who said it was a good idea to sign an 'aging' player on 7 grand a week in the lower leagues? The mind really does boggle!
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Our signing policy is based on players the manager knows i.e. players in our league or who we come up against. Or recommendations from agents. There in lies your answer. I get the impression none of our managerial team have much knowledge of world football and as a side note I highly doubt any of them are watching the Italian Cup Final that is currently live on TV. I bet the Mourinhos and Rodgers of the world are engrossed by it pouring over every detail. when was the last random unknown player we signed that was a success? I can't think of anyone. The tims seem to be pretty good at it.
