Sons of Struth take some kids along to watch training and meet the players

No its his hips that are knackered now , yet you listen to some idiots and they say all he does is run around Auchenowie kicking doors open and shouting at players , the guy cant walk the length of himself

I thought the argument was the reverse of that. That he doesn't really do anything?

Sorry to hear about his hips, one of the best players we have produced at Ibrox.

Breaks my heart to see Durrant hobbling around on crutches , good luck to Ian on his upcoming operation , hope it all goes ok .

Is it to do with his old injury?

Any idea what the hip problems actually are rbr?

No mate just that he needs an operation and it's been kept very quiet

Hip ops are fairly common procedures these days, although at 47 he's still very young to be getting a hip joint replacement if that's what he needs. Whatever the op is I hope it's a success and he can get walking without crutches again.

Fair play to Sandy Easdale for organising this with Craig. Well done from me.

On another note, and not wanting to derail an excellent thread, the club enters into dialogue with supporters and the result is best bit of PR in months.

I have mixed feelings when I see young kids being wheeled out for the publicity at Murray Park/Ibrox.

One of the boys in the pictures is along with myself and 5 others on the Standing Orders for away tickets and has been for a few years travelling everywhere to see Rangers with his mother, it's an absolute scandal that he only gets tickets to Ibrox twice a season (thrice if he's lucky).

People see photo's like these today and think Rangers are good to and look after their wheelchair fans when nothing could be further from the truth.
