the gunslinger 3,366
Tight budget at nandos. You need a mortgage to get a burger. It's abysmal value.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
That is exactly how this one plays the game mate. So true......strange game.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
I don't agree with every word, but calscot does make a fair point in that Nandos isn't actually an unhealthy place to eat. It's not as if they deep fry their chicken like KFC or similar fried chicken joints, so you'd have to be munching mountains of chips or other unhealthy fried items from their menu before it would become an unhealthy place to eat. I've never been and have no wish to go. Looking at the menu, it's not somewhere a professional athlete should ever be seen in. Wonder if Andy Murray is a regular customer
the gunslinger 3,366
In fairness it's easy to eat healthily at nandos. It's just the value for money that's terrible.
Ser Barristan Selmy 222
just checked their online menu. Almost 50g of fat in a large portion of chips . That's not far off what I eat in a whole day.

Ser Barristan Selmy 222
Footballers in Scotland are clueless when it comes to diet and conditioning. England isn't much better.

rbr 1,270
I would bet the vast majority would know what is required for a modern footballer , on talksport last Tuesday , they had the West Ham head Chef , who also happens to be Englands head chef , he was talking about the logistics of this world cup , but he did talk about diets and the myth that carbs were bad , very very interesting
